(Post by Drea)Xemnas sighed with annoyance at the 3 rather loud knocks on his door. He turned around and snapped out, "What do you want?!" . He heard Xigbar's voice and held back a smack in the head. "Superior. I humbly request an audience with you. We have successfully retrieved Number 13 as you ordered.” 'Number 13 hmm... Well then...' He thought while walking to the door. Xemnas unlocked the door and opened it with a pure annoyed, and slightly pissed off look. He stepped out of the way letting Xigbar and Red head in. "You two may know why I wanted the retrieval of number 13. But in case you don't, Sora's restoration is almost complete... And this isn't what we wanted so soon." His tone was sharp as he closed the door and looked to Roxas. His eyes narrowing at the close resemblance to Sora. "Plus... Riku has been sneaking off lately, which is making our plans go straight down the drain. After we get Roxas checked for memories that have been missing since the restoration, I want you Xigbar, being the second member of the organization to do some babysitting," Xemnas smirked, his voice just dripped with sarcasm as he snickered quietly to himself. "And you Axel.... You'll be watching over Roxas from now on until Sora's restoration is complete. Don't let him accidentally wonder off and discover things. Got it?" His eyes focused on the two to see if rejections to their orders would be heard. -- Riku appeared in the hall not to far from Xemnas's door. His head moved up as he heard the voices in the room but just barely. '3 people...' He thought as he walked down the hall towards his room. Riku's feet made a soft 'thump' noise as he stopped at his door. His eyes narrowed hearing the door down the hall open slightly like someone was about to leave in the middle of a sentence. He sighed and slipped silently into his room, closing the door with a small 'click' (If some of this is wrong, just tell me ^^

Crushed. Complete and utterly crushed. The lowly Dusk bled from sight as DiZ finally finished his master-mistake. Axel couldn’t see out of his makeshift lookalike’s eyes, but something told him, as he strode after his rather talkative senior…. The mission was finally accomplished. Rest-assured no digital dreams would swallow them now.
And yet… something felt strongly wrong. A slight little itch, tugging at the broken heartstrings that made up the wire cage of his empty existence. No bird to sing in that pit of despair, no watch to tick away his remaining hours- so no emotions should persist through that void to torment him! He had thought reuniting with Roxas would end this torture, would stop this charade his mind fooled him into… but it had not.
Clutching Naminé’s small farewell present and arms tightly wrapped around the sleeping epitome of his madness, Axel struggled to drown out the inane rambling of his own head. So dazed and lost, he hardly had time to worry about seeing the Superior face to face.
"You two may know why I wanted the retrieval of number 13. But in case you don't, Sora's restoration is almost complete... And this isn't what we wanted so soon."
'So you did know...’ Axel glared. It seemed Xemnas was aware of Sora’s ties to Roxas all along, maybe even why he disappeared in the first place! He furiously fought for his mind to still and take up its nonchalant manner. He’d have time to think later, first he had to get back into the swing of things. His deeply green eyes would reveal nothing, not even as Xemnas leaned forward to inspect the precious cargo.
"And you Axel.... You'll be watching over Roxas from now on until Sora's restoration is complete. Don't let him accidentally wonder off and discover things. Got it?"
“Whoa, Déjà vu. Relax Xemnas, got it all taken care of.” He smirked jovially.
There’d been a slight doubt if he’d be allowed near the blonde again; but Xemnas must have already guessed anyone else who took the job would, under mysterious circumstances, find themselves six feet under, or otherwise incapacitated. Not willing to jeopardize the success of the Nobody legion, this was a wise choice. ‘Maybe I DO still like you Xemnas >)’
OOC: I have more to add, but I didn't know if you had more to say Xigbar, so I'll leave it at that ahhh yes, how much Karma did you have in your old account before it was deleted? I think it was 4? 5 maybe? I've been working to bring you back up to your current level, cause it's not fair you should fall behind from just an error in your account.
^^ sorry for the wait guys, almost done with your pic Roxas; sorry it's so late
I might have found us some new members, just gotta wait a few days for some people then I'll see if we have any takers

Demyx paused as walked down the hall. He had just returned from the Underworld and was looking forward to just relaxing in his room, maybe play with his sitar for a while, practice summoning his water clones, pestering one of the other members out of flat-out boredom...
...however, voices from behind the door he was about to pass intrigued him and he turned to the door. He heard the muffled voice of the superior, what sounded like Axel's voice, and it seemed like Xigbar might be in there, too. He couldn't quite hear what they were saying, so he went up to the door and pressed his ear against it.
"And you Axel.... You'll be watching over Roxas from now on until Sora's restoration is complete."
"Roxas is back?" Demyx murmured under his breath. A grin spread over his lips. Roxas had been the only other Nobody that had been around his physical age that Demyx had even sort of gotten along with. He was glad that Roxas was back. He leaned closer against the door to hear more of the conversation.

‘Plus... Riku has been sneaking off lately, which is making our plans go straight down the drai-----’
Blah, blaah, blaaah. damn. He hadn’t shut up since granting the small, motley bunch permission to enter his chambers. The enigmatic man with golden eyes that far surpassed the piercing quality of his own, possessed the unique ability to put an eloquent spin on simple words, making each uttered phrase sound poetic… and frankly artfully delicious. A vast majority of the time, Xiggy tuned him out, only fading back into the conversation when he spoke something HE deemed relevant to his own personal cause. Right now, he wished to get back to the steaming pile of blueberry pancakes waiting for him in the kitchen. Mmm, sugary, buttery goooodness. True, Nobodies like them did not require sustenance of any kind, but it was nice to feed the memory every once in a while, indulging in human practices just for the sake of doing it.
‘---After we get Roxas checked for memories that have been missing since the restoration-----’
Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a sec? Xiggy did a double take, shaking himself right back into reality.
What….
….Xemnas already knew about the mind wipe ole Diz performed on their Key of Destiny? And he didn’t enlighten the rest of them BECAUSE---? The damage ran pretty deep, affecting the youngster neurologically. He couldn’t recall his true purpose, nor those in which he had formed a seemingly unbreakable bond…. a connection now dissolving into nothingness. If the Superior knew the extent of what they were dealing with, he would undoubtedly order the others to obliterate him entirely from existence. That’s why they had to continue to play it smooooth. Hehe, thank goodness that just happened to be his SPECIALITY.
‘I want you Xigbar, being the second member of the organization to do some babysitting.’
DOH! How did he KNOW that was coming? Number two’s shoulders slumped forward in defeat, his lips pursed together in growing annoyance. Nooo, what about his pancakes? “Aaah, I hate KIDS. Can’t I just, you know, ring his little neck and be done with it?”
In pure Xemmy fashion, he was promptly shut down with a simple glance that told him he better not question his instructions, “Tch, FINE. I’ll keep the little brat under thumb. For a while. WELL if that’s all, I think I’ll be on my way.” He paused, waiting to see if his HIGHNESS had anything FURTHER to add.

Xemnas's eyes glared to Xigbar, before they snapped to the door.
“Tch, FINE. I’ll keep the little brat under thumb. For a while. WELL if that’s all, I think I’ll be on my way.”
He gave him a flat look with a snort, "Then go already, but if you two say anything about this to ANYONE i will have both your heads nicely mounted on my wall. Oh..." Xemnas turned around so his back was taking in the looks, "Take care of the menace behind the door." He made sure his words were a bit loud to startle the one listening.
Xemnas became quiet, such a rare spectacle for anyone. His dismissal was always like this. He waited for the door to close and sighed a little, rubbing his temple with his middle and fore-fingers.
"Such a troublesome group..." He muttered to himself.
----
Riku stared up at the ceiling while lying on his bed. Thoughts racing through his head and images as well, though he did hear someone coming down the hall and his eyes narrowed. Carefully, Riku sat up and waited for that wonderful knock on the door that usually woke him up from a dream.
His eyes moved over to the door as he waited.

Demyx strained to hear more of what was being said inside the room. The three voices had gone a bit quieter so he had a hard time hearing what they were saying. He listened for a few more minutes. Xemnas' voice suddenly spoke loudly:
"Take care of the menace behind the door."
"Eep."
Demyx quickly stepped backwards to try to get away from the door, but he tripped on the hem of his long coat. Another 'eep' escaped his lips as he fell flat on his ass on the cold marble floor of the hallway.

Ahhh Xemnas, always brooding, always ranting, always…not... looking in the right direction.
"Take care of the menace behind the door."
o.o Axel was surprised to hear Xemnas sensed a prescence when he spent half the time spacing out, looking the other way. He really did have eyes in the back of his tight skull!
'well then, what's this?'
With a nod and a cheesy salute, he flung open the door loud as he could just in time to see his comrade fall “intelligently” backwards with a resounding squeal
“You waiting for something?” His eyes narrowed with delight
“So, does “take care of” mean we’re supposed to ring HIS little neck instead of teacher’s pet? Or are we to sympathize about his “ouch” from spying? >) ” He smirked at Xigbar, a fiery glint in his eye
This talk was all theoretical of course. Not that Axel HAD free arms to kill the younger child with, being that they both continued to cradle Roxas. Still, Demyx proved the highest entertainment for Axel. One being how delightfully upset he could rile the boy up to feel, and two, with the durability of water he could handle a few burns from "sparring."
Honestly, there was a general disagreement if Demyx even was a Nobody when they first found him. The poor child had been through such an ordeal for death he was frantically clinging to every last shred of sanity and emotion he had left. Nearly any member that approached him was pushed back from the basket case’s outbursts. It took several members to calm the personified breakdown. Axel was one of them.
He fit into the order eventually, but even now he was somewhat of the black sheep. Although he’d never regained any of the true power he performed back at the height of his panic, Demyx continued to parade around like he had a heart; Even if the only one he could fool was himself.
Axel half respected that; but he also couldn’t resist a good bullying now and then!
“So you wanna dance waterboy? >) “ Axel’s Chakrum spun around like a force-field. Even if all he could do was protect Roxas, this ought to be a good show.
OOC: In my crazy insight, I have once again felt the need to fill in the blanks of character's past; but I sent a PM to Sprite for her consent, so don't worry it's all good, no CCing here; just please someone tell me if you dislike my doing this.

[ooc; REALLY sorry I took so long to post this; it's been a hard week and a half at home. ;_;]
Demyx gulped as the other Nobody's chakrams spun around like the deadly wheels they were. He scrambled backwards and pressed himself against the wall.
"C-c'mon, Axel!" he whined. "You know I don't like fighting!"
He could already feel the heat of Axel's flames rising up in the hallway. A small whimper escaped his lips and he concentrated on summoning a ball of water to douse any fire that came near him.
While Demyx liked Roxas, genuinely, it seemed, he had never really gotten along with Axel. The two of them hadn't really made good first impressions and the whole thing with their clashing elements only made things worse. Besides, Axel was scary in his own way.
"I just heard Roxas was back," Demyx mumbled, aqua eyes focused on the fiery nobody in front of him. "I swear, I didn't mean to eavesdrop."
[ooc; you can have Axel attack him, regardless. If you need to cc him a bit, go ahead. I don't mind.]

“…Uhnnn…”
‘Can’t… breath…’
He felt detached from his own body, loose and numb, his spirit left to float aimlessly in the astral wind. He had long since lost track of where he was, but could feel an odd openness surrounding him. The air was SO thick there, consistency similar to that of… water, his lungs screamed with each deep breath he inhaled. Ugh, what was happening to him? So cold. Was this how it felt when the essence of a being left the physical body, suspended in the surreal dimension between life and death. He was dying, wasn’t he?
Confusing images swirled, his vision wavering wildly across the edges of reality. The delicate strands of truth and fiction were becoming more blurred the farther he fell into the bottomless abyss of pure… nothing, he no longer knew what was real, and what wasn’t.
‘Are you going to sleep all day? Wake up, you lazy bum.’
‘…who…?’ That voice…
Oh. It belonged to that girl he liked. The boy from his dreams. Why was she---?
Roxas looked skyward as though he expected to see her floating there, air bubbles flowing from his parted lips, reminding him that he could not call out even if he wanted to. What he saw was not the source behind the voice, but an unusual heart-shaped moon, its rays strong enough to infiltrate the murky liquid to reach his buoyant body. The illumination brought about a profound sense of calmness over the young blonde’s mind, he extended his arm, unable to resist the urge to relish in its warmth. Logically, he knew such a notion was impossible… he was falling farther and farther away from it with each passing second. The billowing darkness from the depths of the morass swallowed the light soon after, and he was, once again, plunged into darkness.
“Gghnn.”

Ugh, what was WRONG with Xemmy’s head? Did staring at Kingdom Hearts for such long spans of time finally kill every last one of his brain cells? Why the hell would he permit Axel to watch Roxas again, when he had failed to keep the boy in line so miserably the first time. Number Eight was too soft on the kid. In the nonexistent world they lived in, sentiments such as love, kindness and brotherhood were rendered obsolete. It was ridiculous to think otherwise. BUUUT, he also knew there was no questioning the Superior. Behind each and every spoken word and action he performed, lay an intricate strategic plan, there was no way to predict his true motives. No matter, there were small things he could do to make sure luck continued to pull in their favor.
One of those said tools he could use just fell flat on his face at their feet, squirming like the rat he was when Axel expertly summoned the chakram under his command while also keeping a steady grasp on the little blonde boy. “Okay, okay, let’s simmer down, kids. No need to get all Medieval on each other. Can’t you see Demy’s simply concerned about his friend? Aren‘t cha, Demy?”
Xigbar wrapped an arm around the youngsters neck in a tight, uncomfortable head lock, digging his bony knuckles hard into his scalp. Ah, the infamous noogie. So classic. So glorious.
“Roxy IS a little scrambled in the head, but he’s back. I’m so HAPPY to see you eager to join in on the fun, not huddled in the corner somewhere shaking. I was beginning to think you useless.”
‘…Uhnnn…’ he heard that nearly inaudible groan, turning with a wide grin at the limp boy, resting in his friends arms, “Ah, finally starting to come around, eh! Guess I hit him harder than I thought.” Shoulda hit him harder considering he got out of a punishment by Xemnas.
He ruffled that messy Mohawk rougher, lowering his lips to speak in a hushed tone so only the Sitar Player could hear, “You’re going to be sticking with them to serve as my Janis: my eyes, my ears, a watcher. I want you to report to me every action that they make from here on out, understood?”
He didn’t give a damn what Xemnas said. To him, Roxas was a traitor, and would be treated as such.

Whimpering- great. Axel’s eyes twitched in slight irritation; no one could suffice a good argument or brawl- not living up to the standards of Larxene anyhow. But then, everything seemed to have ticked off that character, if she inhabited the emotion of anger, than Demyx must have inhabited fear.
“tch-“ He poked the hovering solution of H2o in hopes the contents would spray upon its conjuror’s shivering head.
Whatever interest could be derived in the squealing underling quickly faded at the sound of a brief gasp; a low moan escaped from the sleeping Roxas’ lips.
Oh sure, the sleeping made noises all the time; but if this was a time of awakening for the very confused teammate, this wasn’t the preferred position Axel wanted to make a “first” impression in. Besides, Xigbar had already swooped in to steal the status of the bully.
Axel turned around just in time to hear the small “click” of Riku’s closing door. Xemnas’ words came to mind "Plus... Riku has been sneaking off lately, which is making our plans go straight down the drain” The red head couldn’t help but contemplate the meaning of those words; just why was the little numberless manic-depressant the Superior’s favorite? What plans did he have to ruin? Had there been something their leader’s Somebody left behind to intrigue the colleague of the child? The enigma’s past was never much concern; as most members were lucky enough to grasp the letters of their names. In Demyx’s case he must have remembered too few or too little >.>
First the knowledge of Roxas, and now this. Axel had harbored suspicions on the amount of information he was given before, but not this much. Where he had been cozy and in control once, he now felt unease. Were Axel a tool, he would at least like to possess the knowledge that he was. The idea of being manipulated in what he himself had thought were his own schemes did not sit comfortably in the red-head’s mind.
Catching himself on account of stumbling helped Axel remember the priority nestled in his arms. “if you two say anything about this to ANYONE I will have both your heads nicely mounted on my wall” Taking Xemnas’ colorful words to “heart”, Axel decided it best to move somewhere less out of the open; though how anyone could keep such a secret for long was beyond No.8’s comprehension. No.9 already noticed Roxas before the two left the room! Maybe a day or so could go by so long as the mullet didn’t blab, which is what Axel assumed Xigbar was muttering in his little head-locked conversation this moment.
‘Okay… so if not here, than where?’ Roxas had been in Axel’s room before, perhaps the more familiar setting might settle better in the keyblader’s mind? Setting the blond on the bed, for lack of anywhere else, he remembered Naminé’s “farewell”doodle. ‘ “It might help to restore his memory”…Well since you were likely the culprit I should hope so!' He dangled the picture by the slumbering boy’s line of vision; almost covering his eyes.
“Talk about capital L for Lame” he grumbled

Demyx let out a small yelp when Xigbar had grabbed him and put him in a headlock. He tried to escape, arms flailing, before he heard the older Nobody's voice, whispering harshly in his ear:
“You’re going to be sticking with them to serve as my Janis: my eyes, my ears, a watcher. I want you to report to me every action that they make from here on out, understood?”
Demyx whimpered and nodded his head quickly; anything to get the Freeshooter off of him. While he was frightened of Axel, Demyx was absolutely terrified by any of the Original Six. Whether or not he'd actually follow through with Xigbar's order was yet to be determined. After all, he didn't want to be near Axel.
Speaking of the red-head, Axel had just left the hallway, along with Roxas.
With Axel gone, Demyx's physical heartbeat began to slow down from the racing speed it had taken on when he'd been confronted by the fiery red-head. He pouted; he had wanted to say hi to Roxas. Instead, it looked as though he'd have to wait for that later.
[ooc; again, sorry I didn't post quicker. And I'll be bringing Naminé by soon, as well.]

“……well, a’ight then!”
That’s why he liked Demyx SO much. Such a good little underling, always doing what he was told without so much as a hint of objection. Sure, he didn’t always accomplish jobs SUCCESSFULLY or with grace - he tended to whine and cry and cower away from direct confrontation with foes and comrades alike - wait… yeah, that made him pretty useless to their cause and group, didn‘t it? Buuuuut, personally, he gained great satisfaction in teasing the little cretin on a daily basis. Wasn’t that difficult to crawl under his skin, his intelligence rivaled that of a chimps. And THAT was being generous. Quite sad, really. Best to keep him as preoccupied as possible, you know, to get him out of THEIR hair for a while. And who knew, perhaps he would be able to help Roxas come to his senses better than that hot-head Axel could.
“Get to it then, Brother!” He slapped Demyx on the back, purposely shoving him in the direction crazy Axel and Roxas disappeared. “I gots me a babysitting job of my own, so I’ll meet with you later today to get a full report on the situation. I expect you to be prepared.” He extended his index finger, pressing it flat against the mans nose, “Don’t let me down, kid. Later, Melvin.” He spun on his heels, waving his hand as he walked.
All humor drained from his rough, battle worn features the very second he took leave of his company, taking his sweet time reaching Riku’s quarters. He couldn’t STAND Demyx. Tch, don’t get him wrong, Axel was no better. He had more than his fair share of traitorous tendencies. It was utter foolishness to believe they had “feelings.” In the nonexistent realm in which they lived, emotions such as love, kindness and brotherhood were rendered obsolete. For the time being they were merely acquaintances with the same goal in mind. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Roxas.
More trouble than he was worth.
Regardless of the obvious annoyances, he was more useful alive than dead. He was stronger then Sora in the sense that he didn’t allow moral standards to skew his judgment. He did what he had to do without considering the pros and cons like his doofus counterpart.
And it didn’t hurt to have a keyblade wielder in their ranks. Hm. What made the keyblade chose a specific person? Supposedly, only those with the strongest hearts could hold it in their grasp. Why then was Roxas, a heartless being, considered worthy of that honor? Was it SIMPLY because of Sora? No, that wasn’t right. If that was the case, Naminé would be a Chosen One, she too was released by Sora’s soul. Intriguing problem.
Frankly, he was excited at the prospect of cracking it wide open. Oh. And he WOULD. Just as soon as the boy recovered enough to survive it.
By that time, Xiggy had reached the doorway of his temporary ‘charge.’ Wonderful. GRANDE. Didn’t Xemnas know that this could end very badly? Ugh, he hadn’t even addressed the kid yet and already felt like wringing his twiggy little neck.
“RIIIKU!” He howled, obnoxiously pounding on the door in slow, rhythmic beats, “Wakey, wakey, eggs and bac-y.”

Sleep was not something he had been thinking about while fleeing from the strange figures in black, or forced to listen to the drabble about heartless, nonexistent beings. It came against his will, but now that it was there, numbing his senses and allowing him to rest after the days events, he felt almost...relieved.
From what had he been running from? Axel? Naminé….? The sad truth of his existence? That’s right. He said he didn’t want to know the truth. He WANTED to remain in ignorant bliss. However, things like that were bound to come out sooner or later. Was he afraid now that he knew? Technically, that notion was impossible. He couldn’t be afraid. He couldn’t really BE anything at all.
Wait.
Something was....Moments before he hadn't been aware of anything but his own thoughts, but now he felt something---No...heard something...? Birds chirping. The sensation of a gentle wind brushing against his skin. He dared open his eyes to investigate, finding himself sitting on the broken crate in the Usual Spot. Had the events been a dream, after all? He wasn’t really drowning in a pool of water, or being chased or manipulated or controlled or anything outrageous like that. Stupid… dream…
“Huh?” The tiny strands of hair on the back of the young boys neck suddenly stood on end, an eerie silence settling over the area where he sat alone. Someone had been watching him just now. Although he had failed to catch a glimpse of the perpetrator, he felt the piercing gaze against the back of his head - an uncomfortable burning sensation that would not fade until whomever… or whatever it was… had diverted their attention elsewhere.
“Hayner? Hey, is that you? … Pence?”
A momentary pause delivered no response from the aforementioned. Blue eyes narrowed toward the thin alleyway, seeing nothing out of place. Ugh, he needed to stop being so paranoid… He… just needed to lighten up a little…
Inhaling sharply, he filled his lungs with the fresh evening air, rising from the makeshift seat to stand fully upright. It was… unusually quiet in that back alleyway. And cold. Roxas lifted his hands vigorously rubbing his arms, shivering with an unexpected chill. Warm breath flowed from his open mouth in visible swirls, dissipating the further it got from his body. Blue eyes fell to witness chunks of his own flesh crumbling under the soft touch of his fingertips, breaking free to fall at his feet.
“WHA?” He watched, horrified, as pale skin gave way to black nothingness, spreading across his entire body. He was… disappearing! But, WHY? He tossed his head back and screamed, giving into the verbal proclamation of weakness as though that would somehow save him from the fate already decided. And then he could see no more.
‘Talk about capital L for Lame.’
Brows visibly furrowed as the hazy tone cut through the darkness of his mind. Even through the nightmare, there was still a misplaced sense of relaxation that tempted his body to remain limp for the next couple of weeks or months.
“…augh.” Roxas’ finally cracked open his eyes, unfocused vision staring at the messy blob of colored scribbles hanging over his head. He waved his hand, pushing the paper out of his face with an annoyed grunt. It took a moment for him to regain his bearings; it was becoming more difficult to differentiate between reality and illusion. Even now, he didn‘t know if he was awake or asleep. “Mm.” The boy weakly sat up, the feeling in his limbs gradually returning to normal.
He didn’t even seem to notice his best friends presence. If he did, he cared not to acknowledge him.
‘Ugh, dizzy.’ he rubbed his eyes with the palm of his hand, trying to rid himself of the fog temporarily blinding him.
‘…where am I…’ he was getting sick and tired of being thrust into unfamiliar terrain. When would it end?

Demyx stumbled away from Xigbar and towards Axel's room, where the red-head would certainly have taken Roxas. He really didn't want to go there; he was certain Axel would immediately pounce on him and proceed to beat the crap out of him. But, orders were orders. Unless you took out the first 'r' and replaces the 'e' with an 'o', then you'd have odors.
Demyx laughed outloud. He needed to think of something besides the imminent fight with Axel upon reaching the red-head's room. He'd likely stand no chance against the Flurry of Dancing Flames if he did nothing but expect to be beaten. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts. Ice cream, kittens, lollipops and hearts.
All things that he couldn't have.
No, no! Demyx shook his head. I will have a heart! Xemnas swore we'd get our hearts back! As long as I do what I'm told, I'll be whole again and won't have any reason to be afraid.
Positive thoughts were not working.
He stopped in front of the red-head's door and stood there for a moment before reaching up meekly to knock on the door. Gods, he had an easier time approaching Larxene than facing Axel. And she had been scary.

Riku's eye twitched hearing Xigbar slam a fist over and over onto the door.
“RIIIKU!.... Wakey, wakey, eggs and bac-y.” this was going to be annoying.
Riku sighed and dragged himself out of his bed and walked to the door. "What the hell do you want, you wannabe surfer?" He spoke with a flat tone, opening the door. He wasn't expecting more then just a smart remark and a punch on the arm. Riku moved back and glared up at him.
"Xemnas sent you, didn't he?" Riku mumbled and glared a little at the floor. He knew it was his own fault for someone being sent to his room, he shouldn't have been going through info to find out about Kairi and ...Sora. His eyes narrowed a little and he looked up at Xigbar then around him slightly. Quickly he pushed past him and ran down the hall as fast as he could, something was happening and he needed to find out what it was.
"I think it's... complete...." He mumbled to himself, But as he did so... he heard Xigbar yell and take off after him. Riku needed to get to his destination... but he had a feeling he would be caught.. and oh was he right...
(ooc: sorry it's so short =/ I'm heading to my sisters for a break x.X I just feel really overwhemled at the moment T.T)

“WHOA! Daaaamn, SOMEONE woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. CHILL dude, I‘m not here to chastise you. ‘Long as you’re a good little boy. I need me some breakfast first. Don’t like bacon and eggs? Would you prefer to partake in gooey muffins instead? Hmmmmm? Jus’ don’t touch the pancakes. Those are MINE.”
Stupid blockhead kids and their smart ass attitudes. ‘’Like to knock a few of HIS marbles loose.’ Too bad they couldn’t ship ‘em off to a ranch of some sort and burn ‘em alive. Maybe roast some marshmallows in the process so all that wood didn’t go to waste.
And what did he do next? Willingly comply with the gracious offer? Apologize for being an ass? Or more appropriately, kneel down to kiss his toes! NOPE! None of the above. He stupidly took off sprinting down the hallway, exposing his back and all the vital organs behind it to the best sharpshooter this side of oblivion.
“Dah, let’s not DO this, huh? MAN. Dammit, Xemnas. I swear by the end of today, he’s gonna be filled with holes and bleeding on the ground.” Xiggy grumbled angrily to himself, his body vanishing without a trace.
Having the ability to control space itself had many perks.
Before poor Mr. Riku knew what was happening, Number Two had rematerialized directly in front of his path of flight, the sharp end of one of his beloved arrows pointed at the spot right between his eyes. “Jus’ have to be absolutely BLUNT with you, is it? Shame, I was willing to take it down a notch for a while.”
His rich saffron eye narrowed, “Ever felt a pain so powerful you collapse? If not, better start knockin’ on wood, ‘cause that’s what’s going to happen if you continue to defy the boss. If you’re with this Organization, be WITH us. If you’re not, go ahead and say so now and I’ll fix the problem. I’ll be honest, I DESPISE you. Why he wants to keep you around, hell if I know.”

Riku's eyes narrowed as Xigbar's arrow pointed right at the brigeof his nose. He raised his hand and smacked Xigbars hand away.
"I'm leaving..." His voice was low and he stepped back, putting his hand towards the ground. Heartless slowly rose from the ground, their bodies twitching and eyes glowing brightly.
Riku opened up a portal behind him and glared at Xigbar slightly while turning around and walking into the portal, having it disappear right after his foot disappeared. But the heartless, right as the portal disappeared shot forward to Xigbar, their claws exposed. Small growls emited from them as they were shot by the man that stood before them.
Riku ran out of a portal in the dark forest of Digital Twilight Town, headed to the large mansion that rested not to far away. He pulled his hood up and stopped at the edge of the woods to he rested in the dark, his eyes focused right on... him... Sora was alright, he really was... okay...

Naminé stepped out of the portal and into the World that Never Was. She looked around, keeping a careful eye out for anything or any Nobody that might attack her. After everything that had gone down at Castle Oblivion, she was likely not welcome amongst the Organization, despite her being a Nobody herself. Even if she was welcome, she would probably be only a pretty pet with only a bit of true use.
The very thought would have stirred fury in her heart, had she one to have emotions.
Naminé did not wish to kept as a pretty pet, nor did she wish to be imprisoned in a white room with nothing but her task or to be held against her will to work under the orders of one who would abuse her ability to take apart minds. DiZ and Marluxia had both been more than enough to prove to her that she did not wish to be held captive and forbidden to do as she wished.
Walking quietly through the halls of the Castle that Never Was, Naminé headed for the room she knew Roxas once occupied. When she had been forced to wipe Roxas' memories, she had taken them into great detail into multiple drawings and into her own mind. She knew everything that the other Nobody had known about the Castle and used this to her advantage, sneaking past rooms she knew might be occupied by Organization members that might become alerted to her presence.

Axel watched Roxas’ lean form jolt up, a sensation comparing the likes of fear. He had no emotion to regard Axel with- he didn’t regard him at all.
So the paper didn’t work; he figured it mightn’t. That was all right, because there was something amusing about meeting an old friend again under entirely different circumstances. Axel wasn’t sure what he wanted anymore. The longing that had rattled on the door of his sanity seemed so distant he wondered if it had even been there at all. Perhaps he’d merely tuned it out. It was hard to tell if he still felt the insane drive to repatch what once was, or if he’d gone numb... But then, to repair the past; wasn’t that what everyone was striving for in the first place? To regain one’s heart, one’s feelings, one’s soul.
Even without any blatant recognition of the comrade who sat in the other end of the room, this Roxas certainly was not the one who had once sat in the Organization uniform beside an arrogant red-head. No. Axel began to ponder, that even if the Roxas that “once was” had attained a heart, his gaze could not surely compare with the warmth he saw in this current one.
Yet this Roxas had no heart either; although the way he hid it was truly something to applaud. Mentally, even if he could understand he was a heartless being, a mere pieces of matter no scientist could comprehend, he still seemed to behave as if he lived within his program.
So what did this make the blond? A Schizophrenic? Thinking he possessed what truly wasn’t there? Axel wanted to laugh, the notion was so absurd; for he certainly couldn’t call the rest of the group a definition of normalcy. Alright, say that a Nobody could achieve a “heart” without some sort of magic, did that make what DiZ did some sort of psycho-therapy? Axel shook his head, dismissing that thought
He stared at Roxas now, unsure whether to envy or pity
"bout time you woke up." he said blankly, partly just to remind the keyblader of his presence
"You're sitting in the room of the head castle of the "World that Never was", a piece of rubble truly fitting to be called "nothingness as much as the rest of us..." He paused for a moment, usure what to add next, surely the kid was tired of being told he didn't exist; maybe the notion needed a while to register, but constant reminding wouldn't make it happen any faster
"you lived here once."
OOC: hey! long time no write; I'm a little out of my groove right now, but I'm sure I'll pick up some better literary skill in a while. Don't worry Demyx, I didn't forget your post; I'm just waiting for a good time to add your knock in; helps the dramatic effect ya know? Anywhoo, good to be back!

OOC: So good to have you back.
Roxas took a keen interest in the grey stitching in his pants, squeezing the thick material so tightly it cut off circulation to his knuckles. Skin around the bone faded to a sickening purplish/white color, darkening ever more with his growing frustration. Why was this HAPPENING to him? Had he done something to deserve this kind of treatment? No, no.... he was CONVINCED he was stuck in the middle of an elaborate nightmare. A hellish would he was having trouble waking from. That was the ONLY explanation! And the only consideration that kept him from breaking down. ‘Come on alarm, you’re past due.’
In the next instant, he raised a hand up to massage his throbbing temples, realizing then that this was no dream. It was illogical to think otherwise. No matter how real the illusion, pain wasn’t included in the mix. Mental trauma, MAYBE, but physical ailments were unknown in the subconscious imagery. Only after accepting the truth could he begin trying to piece together the complicated puzzle he managed to entangle himself in. He was... terrified.
Respite came through the voice of the pyromaniac with the unruly red hair, injecting new information into his troubled mind. He gave some explanation to the surroundings, revealing they had arrived at the locale Naminé spoke about in an earlier conversation. Roxas patiently waited until his voice faded before he dared lift his dull, listless eyes to meet with the gaze of a complete stranger. A stranger he met in a rather unconventional way. He wasn’t taken with the idea of being closely monitored, let alone while he fitfully slept. But he sure as hell wasn’t about to raise objections until he had a better grasp of how grave the situation was.
The boy turned his attention elsewhere, uninterested in forming any kind of relationship with a man who didn’t bother trying to see how things were in his perspective. He had every intention of bringing him to this place, willingly or not.
The only thing he would say to him wasn’t a statement at all, but a simple question, “Where’s Naminé?”

Demyx, having knocked on Axel's door and not receiving an acknowledgement that anyone had heard, pressed his ear to the door and strained to listen. Yeah, he had already wound up getting caught doing this once today, but it was the best way to tell if anything was going on; aside from actually going in uninvited.
He couldn't really hear much. Axel was being quiet, but he did hear Roxas speak.
"Where's Naminé?"
Demyx blinked. Who was Naminé? Was that someone that Roxas had met while he was gone? He bit his lower lip as he tried to hear more. Not hearing an answer from Axel, Demyx reached up and knocked on the door again. Maybe this time someone would come open the door.

Axel took so long waiting for the kid to speak he was actually surprised when he finally did "hm? Namine- ohhh right, she didn't come with us... Sorry Rox but this really isn't the place for her, if you wanted her safe she'd probably best stear clear of here" That was partially true anyhow. Even if the girl did say she would come eventually, who's to say el Bosso would allow it? Maybe she wasn't in danger, but with the power to warp minds, he found it quite fathomable a guard could take her out before she even got inside. Axel bit his lip, thinking better of it; he'd already lost Roxas' trust once before "No one told Xem-... our leader she was coming... she said she had something to do first; but why do you care about that girl anyhow" Axel suddenly felt annoyed at the prospect that two people invaded the kid's life, yet he chose to hate the one he first knew. The silence that had been invading the room finally gave way to a small rubbing noise- the calamni of a body slouched against a wall. 'Not again' Axel shook his head 'now that I think about it...there was a knock earlier' As quietly as he could Axel paced toward the doorway, and swiftly turned the knob so as to hopefully make the waterboy loose balance from the door's opening He sighed upon seeing Demyx 'as I figured...' "You're really a glutton for punishment aren't ya?" he said thickly

Demyx had to grab the door frame to keep from falling on his face when Axel opened the door. One glance at the pyromaniac and he was nearly cowering.
"Please don't hurt me, Axel," he said. "I just wanted to see if Roxas was okay. I mean, I saw that he was really back and you wouldn't even let me say hi or anything and I'm worried about him, being gone so long and all that."
He took a breath, preparing to summon a couple of water-clones in case he needed them to help fight against Axel.
Xigbar's order to spy on Axel and Roxas had vanished from his mind; he only wanted to see Roxas and now he was being treated like an unwanted child. He bit his lower lip. There was probably a good chance that Axel would hit him or something to get him to just leave.

The redheads angry retort to his "companions" question was met with an aggravated glare. Did it matter why he was curious to know the memory witches whereabouts? He didn't owe this man ANY explanation whatsoever, but he sure as hell deserved some answers to his OWN troublesome concerns.
Roxas desperately wanted to peek outdoors, to soak in the surroundings of this new world, and during the interim, perhaps construct a plan for escape. He would do just that... if he could. There wasn’t a single window in that small cubicle room, nothing to soothe the claustrophobic ache balling in his gut. He might have been trapped in a metaphorical cage before, but he didn’t feel like he was a prisoner until now. It seemed, no one left the ranks of the Organization without serious repercussion. Ugh, it was like he was stuck in a really bad mafia movie. Just his luck.
There was something.... out of place, something not quite right about the way he “felt.” He could not necessarily pinpoint exactly what it was that troubled him, only that it was foreign and brought forth a whole DIMENSION of new sensations. There was a positively unnerving numbness to his body, a prickly, tingling in his fingers and toes. Trying to explain in conventional terms would only make it look like the fragile threads of sanity had finally frayed irreversibly in his mind. Was he... crazy? Was the darkness... beginning affect him in adverse ways? He didn’t know.... Frankly, he didn’t CARE to know. He was just a kid… Weren’t things supposed to be simple?
The young keyblade wielder became aware of the steady pecking at the door, a call in which Axel responded with a frustrated, knowing sigh. A jumpy man stood on the other side, eyes shifting wildly as though he was just WAITING for a surprise attack to strike at any moment. ALWAYS be ALERT, then you’d never be caught off guard. A philosophy that failed brilliantly when the door swung wide open, forcing him to latch into the brass doorknob to keep from smashing his nose on the floor.
Roxas’ blue eyes widened to the size of large saucers, his face paling at the sight. ANOTHER one? How many men in black cloaks EXISTED behind these whitewashed walls?! Was there no escape?
He felt sick.

Axel took a moment to soak in what would make Demyx come all the way back to sneak yet again when he got such a rude awakening last time
His heavy jades bore deep down into the nervous mullet-head Demyx was never very malicious- there was nothing Axel really had to worry about happening... Even if the guy did actually have some kind of order- there's nothing out of the ordinary in just talking; if anything Axel himself was the only one who might have spoken "too much" of anything that might need be hidden
"Fine" he said finally, taking one last glance at the blonde from the corner of his eye
"Ya know, I was just thinking about stepping out for some fresh air"a smirk played off his lips in amusement
Demyx was harmless- but Roxas didn't know that!

Demyx took a step back, then stood up straight. He had to face Axel. "Axel, don't be such a Roxas-hog! He's my friend, too."
Screw what he had heard from the Superior and from Xigbar, he was going to find out what happened to Roxas by getting Axel to talk. Xemnas already knew that Demyx had heard of Roxas' return, so what was the problem? It wasn't like he was going to blab to anyone else that the thirteenth member of the Organization had returned. He didn't really interact with most of the Organization and the ones he had interacted with were all gone by now; Zexion and Marluxia had both been destroyed at Castle Oblivion and he and Luxord weren't talking anymore.
Demyx pushed his way past Axel, feeling more defiant and brave than he thought he was. He went over and stood in front of Roxas.
"Hey there, Rox!" A smile was on Demyx's lips as he greeted the other Nobody. "How're you doing? We missed you!"

The boy‘s blue eyes retained their natural coldness, no indication of emotion other than frustration showing on the features of his face. He could not hear what was being said in the hallway, but common sense dictated that he was undoubtedly the main topic of concern.
What were they going to do with him? Whatever he MIGHT have been was no longer applicable, he didn't remember this place or these people. What use could he possibly be to their "cause?" Now that he thought about it, he had no IDEA what their mission was or if they even had a valid reason to do the things that they did. Maybe they were just psychotic. Plain and simple. Wouldn't come as a major surprise, considering they supposedly possessed no quintessence, no heart. He couldn't believe that about himself. He FELT whole. The sensations he experienced in Twilight Town - whether it was a digital representation of the real thing or not - couldn't have been an illusion. So why then did his gut pang with doubt?
The newcomer strut into the room with an extra bounce in his step, greeting the youngster with enthusiasm. Roxas’ lip curled with a feral growl that he may or may not have heard, either way, it didn’t matter much to him. The Kingdom Keyblade responded to this angry resonation, taking shape in his hand. It soon became a projectile weapon as he aimed for the blonde’s fat head - preferably hitting the spot right between his eyes. If he could catch the guy off guard, he could gain the upper hand and REALLY let him have it.
“Get away from me.” He hissed through clenched teeth. He wasn’t going to let him get close enough to hurt him, like that other guy did. Not this time. He was being a little aggressive, but could anyone blame him for being so high-strung and stressed out? He’d been on edge for a while now.
The sentiments were not appreciated, he would not be lured into his little game just because he pretended to be a good friend.

Demyx ducked when Roxas threw the Keyblade at him. "Holy crap!" He narrowly missed getting hit. "Jeez, Roxas, what's wrong with you?!"
He looked at the other blond. "What happened to you when you were gone?"
Demyx couldn't remember Roxas every being this angry before. Yeah, he'd seen Roxas angry before, but he had never seen him mad enough to use his blade as a projectile against one of his comrades, except for Luxord, but the Gambler of Fate had deserved it for groping him in the first place. He pouted.
"Who screwed you over this time?"

Something had changed in the young key wielders eyes, though what that ’something’ was could be interpreted differently by anyone who saw it. Anger? Neutrality? The look of a boy who was trying to protect himself from being manipulated and used like a good little puppet? He didn’t know if he could trust this man, his shocked reaction when he attacked left him to wonder if he truly WAS being genuine or if this was simply a complicated game of charades that he perfected over the years.
“I don’t remember you, I don’t know you.” Came the blunt, COLD response. No use trying to butter it up with an apology, maybe this would help him take a hint. And if that didn’t work, this should: “Leave me alone.” Could he BE any clearer? He wasn’t partial to “company” right now, if EVER. If forced to chose, he didn’t want to associate with anyone but Axel here in this unknown terrain, and that was only because Naminé verified his character. They were supposed to be... friends, at least in another life.
In his tirade, he made an effort to peek at what lay outside the cramped room now that the door was propped open. His gaze was particularly attracted to the large bay window near the ceiling. Pressing his hand flat against the mattress, he stood upright. Ah... it felt good to stretch out the tight muscles in his legs. He must have been out for a long time. The light from the window prompted him to walk forward, he wanted a closer look.
The satellite of hope for all Nobodies shined in all its brilliant glory in the otherwise dull, eternally night sky. “Kingdom Hearts.” His lips moved with words barely above a whisper. If it wasn’t for the small vibrations in his throat, he wouldn’t have realized the phrase had come from him at all. Whatever anger he felt before, melted away with the sight.
“Kingdom Hearts.” He repeated, wincing as an uncomfortable sensation pounded against his head. His vision unfocused; rather than risk passing out cold, he lowered himself down to sit on the floor, rubbing at his eyes until they cleared.
What was so significant about that... moon?
