What Used To Be A Living Hell

Riku felt Clouds presence starting towards his direction. He broke out into a run, quickly making his way to castle Oblivion. What he didn't notice was that his hood fell back off his head and his silver hair was set back against the wind. He focused his eyes straight on the path he was to take to get up the ruined stairs to the once place he called hell.

"Almost... there..." Riku's breathing was heavy, his feet making a slightly heavy 'thump' as his body felt a bit heavy.

He wasn't supposed to be pushing himself to this, but he had no other choice. He closed his eyes slightly and pushed himself to go faster making his way up the ruined stairs to the main door. He could hear something start to crack and quickly he turned around after stopping. His eyes looked around then focused on the stairs he had just run up were no crumbling to the ground.

"....shit...." Riku was panting as he turned back around and quickly made his way up the steps. Carefully he walked over to the doors, trying to be careful of the missing floor. He turned back once more, seeing Cloud in the distance but decided it was time to move on. With that, he walked into the castle to look at what has 'changed'.

Cloud continued his slow walk, his boots breaking the rocks he walked on in his slow pursuit of the boy with silver hair, which he had managed to deduct by the fact he saw the kids hair when his hood was down. His sword felt heavy as he stepped nearer to castle oblivion, and so did parts of his body, old memories of his time there flooding his mind and weakening his body by some deal more then could have been thought.

His sword had never felt so heavy in his life besides form when he started using it, his body wanted to abandon it and anything else that he carried that was heavy, but his mind couldn’t as there usefulness hadn’t yet come to pass. He trudged on after Riku, up the stair cases and across paths, making sure not to lose sight of what he was aiming for, Castle Oblivion.

He had no idea what the kid wanted in the ruin of a castle, but he would find out soon enough, and if not maybe later then.

Riku's eyes looked around carefully at the area he used to consider a 'home' away from home. Windows were broken, pictures torn, old shards of glass seemed to rest silently in this foreboding castle. The dust was thick, almost like it wanted to make you sick just seeing it. He sighed as he looked right to where he fought what he thought was his best friend....

"...Friend.... yeah right...." His tone was quiet, like to keep to himself.

He slowly averted his eyes off to the floor on the side and turned around while walking off. He needed to get back to his room, in to his bed, into dreamland. Though his dreams were... nothing of the 'pleasent' type of dreams. Riku raised his hand to create a portal with his built up strength. Having enough to walk and make this portal back to his temporary home. He pulled his hood up and looked back right at Cloud.

"You'll know Who I am... Sooner or later..." His Voice was quiet as he turned back and walked straight into the portal...
